4th of July 2009
Ryan got us mountain bikes this year for our Anniversary, so we decided
to go test them out this 4th of July weekend. We took them up to Eklutna lake
about 25 minutes from our house! Faith was all excited about hitting the trails!
Well, she did not realize what these trails had in store for her.........
She did a great job for her age and the condition of her bike, her bike is made mostly for show.
Ryan and I had nice mountain bikes with all the bells and whistles, her little legs burned and her bottom was sore! We figure we went about 6 miles... It was a long trip with us having to stopp every 5 minutes as she was not a happy camper! After many stops we made it back and surprised her with a well deserved treat, ICE CREAM!!!
Next year we will be better prepared for this kind of trip!
This is the beginning of the trip~
A short stop to play and have a snack!
